Currently in her final year at Santa Monica College, she is preparing to prospectively transfer to the University of California, Berkeley for the double major of Peace and Conflict Studies and Media Studies. She is currently attending the Global Summer Program at UC Berkeley. The program is designed to analyze the growing role of the Media within International Relations, specifically in the Middle East. By pursuing a career in Journalism her goal is to convey to the world the ravages of poverty and the injustices that continue to prevail. Through the spread of awareness with the written word and without fear for the unknown, she takes on the commitment for change.
